I am proud to report that 30 of our students earned a spot in the All-Region Band! This breaks our previous record of 20 from the past 2 years. Please join me in congratulating the following students:
In the flute section, Lauryn M. ranked 10th out of 48 students, which placed her 4th Chair in the Concert Band. She is also a 2-Year All-Region Member. Kira K. ranked 12th and placed 6th Chair in the Concert Band.
In the oboe section, Malia R. ranked 3rd out of 10 students, which placed her 1st Chair in the Concert Band.
In the bassoon section, Savannah F. ranked 1st out of 9 students, which placed her 1st Chair in the Symphonic Band. She is also a 2-Year All-Region Member. Marcus C. ranked 3rd and placed 1st Chair in the Concert Band.
In the clarinet section, Mya Villarreal ranked 13th out of 49 students, which placed her 3rd Chair in the Concert Band. Ashley H. ranked 22nd, which placed her 12th Chair in the Concert Band. Honorable Mention goes to Caitlyn S. for placing 24th, and serving as the 2nd Alternate.
In the saxophone section, Abigale H. ranked 7th out of 34 students, which placed her 3rd Chair in the Concert Band. Christopher S. ranked 9th and placed 5th Chair in the Concert Band.
In the trumpet section, Caleb K. ranked 2nd out of 61 students, which placed him 2nd Chair in the Symphonic Band. Ritchie W. ranked 7th and placed 7th Chair in the Symphonic Band. He is also a 2-Year All-Region Member. Clayton O. ranked 17th and placed 9th Chair in the Concert Band.
In the horn section, Jacob P. ranked 10th out of 31 students, which placed him 4th Chair in the Concert Band. Mackenzie R. ranked 14th and placed 8th Chair in the Concert Band.
In the trombone section, Josh F. ranked 1st out of 38 students, which placed him 1st Chair in the Symphonic Band. Duncan L. ranked 5th and placed 5th Chair in the Symphonic Band. Nick C. ranked 10th and placed 4th Chair in the Concert Band.
In the euphonium section, Angel R. ranked 2nd out of 26 students, which placed him 2nd Chair in the Symphonic Band. Kole P. ranked 4th and placed 2nd Chair in the Concert Band. Druw B. ranked 5th and placed 3rd Chair in the Concert Band.
In the tuba section, Sha’Niyah W. ranked 3rd out of 19 students, which placed her 3rd Chair in the Symphonic Band. Damien S. ranked 5th and placed 1st Chair in the Concert Band. Kaden B. ranked 8th and placed 4th Chair in the Concert Band. Honorable Mention goes to Montana S. for placing 10th, and serving as the 1st Alternate.
In our rockin’ percussion section, Ethan R. ranked 1st out of 50 students, which placed him 1st Chair in the Symphonic Band. He is also a 2-Year All-Region Member. Sam F. ranked 2nd and placed 2nd Chair in the Symphonic Band. Zachary D. ranked 3rd and placed 3rd Chair in the Symphonic Band. Grant S. ranked 4th and placed 4th Chair in the Symphonic Band. Garrett M. ranked 6th and placed 6th Chair in the Symphonic Band. Garrett is also a 2-Year All-Region Member. Alley P. ranked 7th and placed 7th Chair in the Symphonic Band. Timothy G. ranked 10th and placed 3rd Chair in the Concert Band.
