This week, the South Belton Jazz Band will be awarded a $500 grant from the Texas Jazz Educators Association at the annual Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio. The attached picture will be displayed at the convention recognizing the group. South Belton was the only school in central Texas to win this grant, and it will be used to purchase music for upcoming performances.
