Last Friday, the South Belton Beginner’s Ensemble competed in the Temple College Band Contest. I am happy to report that despite all the rain, these young band students earned First Division Superior ratings from all 3 judges! You only have one more chance to see and hear the South Belton Band in action this Friday at the Band-O-Rama Concert at the Belton PAC. Beginners Ensemble will perform at 6pm, Symphonic Band at 6:45pm, and Wind Ensemble at 7:30pm. Jazz Band will be performing Thursday night at the PAC starting at 7pm at the Jazz-O-Rama Concert.
