This Saturday, September 14, the Central Texas Jazz Society will be putting on a fundraising concert at the Beltonian Theatre downtown (219 East Central Ave.) starting at 6pm. All proceeds go to lessons for local middle and high school students, and our very own jazz students have benefitted from these scholarships.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students, and will be featuring the Central Texas Jazz Society All-Star Big Band featuring members of the Harker Heights, Belton, and Temple jazz bands with feature trombone artist Altin Sencalar. There will also be reasonably priced dining and beverage options above the entry fee at the Beltonian so you can enjoy dinner and some jazz.
