Upcoming Dates:
World’s Finest Chocolate Fundraiser will begin on Tuesday, January 18th. This fundraiser is to offset the cost of the Spring Trip to Typhoon Texas in May. More information on the field trip will go out in April.
Friday, January 28th– Fine Arts Picture Day during class. Wear your band uniform.
Saturday, February 19th– Solo and Ensemble Contest at SBMS from 9 am- noon. This is a MANDATORY performance for all students. Please wear your concert attire.
Monday, March 28th– All school-owned instrument payments due in full.
Saturday, May 14th– Spring Trip to Typhoon Texas
Tuesday, May 17th- Spring Concert at 6:30 pm in the BHS Performing Arts Center

Sectionals will NOT meet this week. We will set a schedule in class and begin again next week on Monday, January 10th. I will let you know ASAP once the schedule is finalized. As always, sectional rehearsals are REQUIRED, so please let me know if there is ever a conflict.
On Friday, January 21st there will be a mandatory AFTER SCHOOL rehearsal until 5:30 pm. We will be paying a clinician to come in and work with the band in preparation for UIL Contest.

Thursday, February 17th- Pre-UIL Contest, 6 pm @ BHS PAC. This is a MANDATORY performance for students and open to all parents/family.

Friday, February 25th– Clinic after school until 5:30 pm with Mr. San Luis. This is a MANDATORY rehearsal
Tuesday, March 1st– 5:30-7 pm Clinic at BHS PAC with Mrs. Williamson. This is a MANDATORY rehearsal.
Monday, March 28th– All school-owned instrument payments due in full.
Tuesday/Wednesday March 29/30- UIL Contest at Midway High School during the school day.. Parents and Chaperones are encouraged to attend. This is a MANDATORY performance/field trip.
