Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band:
Next week is a busy week for the SBMS Band! Both events are mandatory for our students and we appreciate your efforts to ensure your child’s attendance. Any conflicts must be brought to the attention of a band director before the event.
On Friday, February 18th we will be giving our Pre-UIL Concert/Contest at the BHS PAC. This event is free and open to the public.
Symphonic Band students should stay after school. Dinner (pizza) will be provided.
Wind Ensemble students can stay after school OR should arrive at BHS in concert attire no later than 5:45 pm in the PAC.
The concert will begin at 6 pm and end at 8 pm. Please plan to attend the entire concert and remember that the students will be judged based on their performance that evening both on stage and for sight-reading.
